If it Fits it Ships
We are all faced with the problem of transporting ourselves and our clothes across the county. I have shipped bags via FedEx when I had multiple trips and did not want to pay for my bags each time I boarded a plane. On a recent trip I had a conversation with a seatmate who gave me a good tip. If it Fits it Ships from the USPS- yes our very own postal service (currently going bankrupt). However they do have a great service for shipping. Anything that you can fit into their boxes will ship for a flat rate. My seatmate shared her experience with rolling up her clothes and shipping two boxes across the country for $28 dollars. With rising fees for checked bags this could be the solution. However if you fly Southwest, you do not have to worry- Bags fly free!
